MORE GLASS PAINTINGS****

AS PROMISED……
I had promised my blogger friends who are interested in glass paintings and who are not experts but trying their hands at something creative , that i would show them some of my other paintings as well.
TULIPS
TULIPS

In this type of painting i have drawn the design from a book by placing the glass on the design and drawing the outline with the help of the glass liner. you have to be very steady while doing it as the glass should not move from its position. let the outline dry, and then you can fill it up with colours of your choice.

I did not want to give it a transparent effect as i wanted to frame it and put it up on the wall so i used a hand made paper behind the picture before getting it framed.

  1. hi
    friends
    thanks for your response…
you know this design is my own i usually see some print on a saree, a dress material or even on a bedsheet and try to put it on paper.
There is one more great idea purchase some kids colouring books with big bold pictures which are great for glass painting you can use such pictures for making some wonderful glass paintings.

  2. hi…..am from dubai.i hav done a lot of glass paintings b4.but now its been a long time i hav not done anything.i just loved ur painting…the way u hav done it is really unique and beautifull.ur painting inspired me to brush up my mind.i have tried doing the same design myself.hats off to u it really requires a lot of effort.i took the print out of ur picture.but it was not big enough to satisfy my need.so i drew the outline of it myself on a large chart(24/18 inches)and placing it under the glass i made my painting.now its kept framed in my sitiing room.everybody loved it and appreciated me for my work.but the credit goes completely to u…thanx a lot…i wanna share my paintings with u.is it possible 4 u 2 give me ur mail id?

  3. very attractive indeed…
instead of golden outliner u can try using the outliner of the same colour with which u want to make the filling. for example red outliner of dark maroon outliner for the red roses…
dark green outline for light green leaves
