BOTTLE GOURD AND CHANADAL VEG**

This is a very simple vegetable which can be eaten by anyone i.e any age group

Its simple to make very healthy and therefore nutritious heres how it is made.

 chopp the bottle gourd into small pieces , soak the chana dal for about an hour

take oil in a pan add mustard seeds let them splutter , add hing or asoefotida , 2 chopped green chillies, curry leaves then add the soaked chana dal add a little water and let it cook for some . There is a tip if you cook this vegetable in a pressure cooker you can make it in less than 10 mins and i prepare it in that way . so you can add the chana dal and the bottle gourd together add  1/4 sp haldi powder, a little dhania jeera powder, a little jaggery and water . cook it in a pressure cooker for 5-7 mins or till you get 2 whistles . garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
